Attorneys Robert Hall and Gary B. Mims are listed among Virginia's Super Lawyers 2008 and DC Super Lawyers 2008. Law and Politics publishes Super Lawyers in more than 35 states. According to the publisher the list includes lawyers who have been selected by their peers as the top 5 percent in the state. The roster is based upon a multi-step process that begins with ballots to active lawyers and is backed by independent candidate research.

Partners Robert T. Hall and Gary B. Mims have once again been named to Best Lawyers in America. Robert was first named to the prestigious roster when it premiered in 1983.

Best Lawyers is the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. Best Lawyers compiles lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. In the U.S., Best Lawyers publishes an annual referral guide, The Best Lawyers in America, which includes 29,575 attorneys in 78 specialties, covering all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The current, 14th edition of The Best Lawyers in America (2008), is based on more than two million detailed evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers.

Robert Hall will conclude his term as President of the IATL in April 2008 but will continue to serve as past president. Members of the IATL represent the most exceptional attorneys in the world. Its purpose is to cultivate the science of jurisprudence, promote reforms in the law, facilitate the Administration of Justice, promote the Rule of Law internationally, and elevate the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession. Robert previously served as Dean of IATL and has long been involved in the organization.

Partner Robert T. Hall, drawing on more than 40 years of experience with cases involving catastrophic injury and death, is working toward completion of this new volume with grief therapist Mila Tecala. Mila is the founder and director of the Center for Loss and Grief in Washington, DC. Robert and Mila were both involved in helping the victims of the 9-11-01 attack on the World Trade Center.
