Litigator, pilot and author, Robert T. Hall is among the most experienced trial lawyers in Virginia. For more than 40 years, he has represented the families of those killed or those who were seriously injured through medical neglect, product defects and transportation accidents. His litigation experience spans both civil and criminal matters and includes the landmark exoneration of Earl Washington, Jr. through DNA testing. Robert's persistence in bringing about Mr. Washington's release from a sentence of death and his 18 year incarceration is captured in the book An Expendable Man by author Margaret Edds. Another book, Babymaker, by Rick Nelson chronicles Robert’s successful medical fraud case on behalf of 26 infertility patients against Dr. Cecil Jacobson, who was subsequently indicted and convicted on 55 counts of fraud and perjury. Robert is the co-author of the forthcoming book, Grief and Loss: A Guide for Attorneys and Therapists, with grief therapist Mila Tecala.
